Seeing stuff you buy in pics can never be as good as checking it out live, since professional "product presentation" photos with white background and material and measures info, although very useful, usually seem too... virtual.
Yet, a good review and live photos to support the story is pretty much near to a personal experience, which is why many of you told us it would be great to cover some of the popular items from our shop in the blog -and we loved the idea!

This will be a "pilot" post of this kind, so we chose on of our favorites by a popular British brand Cupcake Cult - Black Crow Maxi Dress.

This dress is perfect in sooo many ways, especially if you are into witchy and occult things., with it's crow and pentagram prints all over the front side and straps that form an inverted pentagram on the back part..
Being a full length dress it looks great on both skinny girls and the more "curvy" ones, and having knee-high slits on both sides, it can be combined with different kinds of shoes - from platform and high heel boots to mary janes or flats, thus allowing you to wear it no matter your height. I wore Demonia Swing platform boots, and some basic jewellery, like a pentagram necklace and skeleton hands hairclips.
As for the colors - they played it safe with this one, combining the black background with red and white details, and I like how it fits my red hair and black makeup.

The dress itself is very pleasant to wear, especially during the hot days, although you can wear it even after the summer with a proper cardigan, bolero or jacket.
